The Functional Approach

A functional approach to health coaching identifies and addresses the root causes of a person's health challenges, rather than just managing symptoms. It’s a personalized, science-based method that views the body as an interconnected system—where imbalances in one area can impact other areas.

Many of my clients come to me disheartened and exacerbated from being failed by their current conventional care system. My goal, as member of your health care team, is to ensure you feel reinvigorated to tackle your health and empowered with knowledge and accountability. Our relationship should emphasize collaboration between the two of us (and any additional providers) about your individual care and needs, so that we can best strategize for long-term wellness. 

Well Rounded Wellness

In my practice, I take an approach to health that encompasses all areas of life. This is separate from holistic strategies like supplementation and nutrition. We also address important areas that play into your health like stress management, movement, sleep, relationship health, even your sense of community!
